Programs Definitions

Examples of "Programs Provided" options you may want to use in your search:

Medicare, Medicaid & Other Government Funded Home Care Providers:

  • Division of Senior  & Disability Services Programs include a range of services provided in the home of the consumer that includes personal care, respite, homemaker and companion care.
  • Home Health is skilled care provided in the home of the patient including services provided by nurses, therapists and home health aides.
  • Home Medical Equipment providers supply equipment used in the home by a consumer such as wheelchairs, beds, toileting apparatus, etc.
  • Hospice programs make it possible for terminally ill patients to spend the final stages of their lives at home or in home-like settings with an emphasis on palliative and supportive care.

Privately Paid Home Care Providers:

  • Private Duty (Medicaid or Private Pay) services are provided in the home and include nursing, personal care and other services to meet the consumer's needs.
